When referring to a cleaning system we’re talking about a system that aids in removing debris by sending it through baskets and the filter. The most common cleaning systems are suction side vacuum and pressure cleaning vacuum. Both, when in good working condition, do an adequate job in keeping the pool consistently clean.
Pressure cleaner vacuums work off pressure through a booster pump and/or a designated return line to sweeper. This water force is then used to create a vacuum effect through the venturi principle and jets, trapping any debris into an enclosed bag that’s attached to cleaner.
A suction side vacuum is connected to a designated vac line or the skimmer. The suction created by you primary pool pump moves the vacuum throughout the pool floor removing dirt and debris.
